A Wedding Across The Borders In A Lush Green Garden Named Hummingbird House (Amanda + Johan)

Amanda is a friend I made in the wedding industry. I knew her as this young, energetic and beautiful wedding venue manager.

Johan and Amanda were planning to have their wedding back in 2020. I had coffee with Amanda right before the lockdown in 2020 and congratulated her on her engagement. I learned Johan’s family are all in Europe.

Two and half years later, I was in Portland and got a call from Amanda: “I’m getting married at Hummingbird House! Let’s talk about wedding photography!”

The wedding day was so special. Hummingbird house is not far from downtown, but it’s a magical oasis of beautiful lush greenery and flowers. It’s perfect for this intimate wedding. I have my three most memorable moments from that day:
